Hackney My
husband Scott and I have been married 11 years this August and we just moved to
the area in January. Our children, Chandler (8), Bailey (6), Meredith (4) and
Kendall (2) are home schooled, so I think my best 'mommy moment' is knowing that
I taught Chandler to read and Bailey is close behind him. Very awesome feeling,
to say the least. I
love to scrapbook and am a Creative Memories Consultant. I also enjoy cooking
and baking. My favorite movie for now is The Count of Monte Cristo, but I REALLY
liked all the Lord of the Rings movies. My
favorite scripture changes with the season of my life, but now is Philippians
4:6 "Have no
anxiety about anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." The emphasis is
mine, but I just love how the Spirit didn't let us quibble over what this means.
I'm clinging to this right now. I was introduced to MOPS by Darci and am so very thankful for people like her who are willing to recognize a need and be persistent. I am very hopeful that the Awesome Apples will grow close enough to share our thoughts and be vulnerable with our needs as the year progresses. |
