Frequently Asked Questions A: MOPS is about nurturing every mother of preschoolers (birth-kindergarten)...from different backgrounds and lifestyles; to the glory of Jesus Christ. Many moms of preschoolers feel overwhelmed, lonely and suffer from a lack of self-esteem. MOPS encourages mothers in the importance of their role while offering support in the challenges they face. Q: How does MOPS work? At each meeting the moms meet in a specific discussion group (A great way to get to know other moms just like you!) Each meeting is unique, but there are also basic elements such as food, special speakers, discussion, prayer, crafts, and of course time to just chat! Our speakers deal with issues such as marriage, parenting, womanhood, family relationships and many other practical "how-to" topics. There are also social events planned outside of the regular MOPS meetings such as Trunk or Treat and MOPS & POPS Night Out and much much more! Q: What about my children? Q; How do I register? |
