Gayle Storey

Mentor Mom Gayle Storey was born and raised in Nocona, Texas. She married Jim Storey in 1960.  They have three children, Mike, Mark, and Suzanne.  Their births were Gayle's greatest parenting moments.  What she likes most about being a mom is seeing the accomplishments of her children.  Gayle has 8 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.  Gayle feels that Suzanne brought her to MOPS because she saw a difference in Suzanne's life, and wanted to be part of it all.

Gayle enjoys cooking, sewing, quilting, and all forms of needlework.  She is an avid reader, and reads mostly mystery books.  Gayle's favorite "at home meal" is steak, baked potatoes, fresh vegetables and salad.  The most difficult time in Gayle's life was when Jim died in 1991.  In 1999, Gayle married Raymond Salmon, and has a large extended family.  "I have found that life can be good again."

Gayle is an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and Altar Society.  Her favorite scripture is "Do unto others as you have them do unto you."  Matt. 7:12
