Catherine Woodbury, hospitality

 

Catherine Woodbury is the newest member of our Steering Team, and she serves as our Hospitality Coordinator.  Catherine is 31 years old and since September of 1998 has been married to Dave, the Music and Youth Minister at First Baptist Church here in Nocona.  She and Dave have one son, Charlie, who is 22 months old, and they are expecting their second child at the end of June. 

 

Catherine was raised in Friendswood, TX, where she graduated from high school in 1991.  She went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University and completed 2 years of coursework at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Marriage & Family Counseling.  She and Dave have lived in Nocona since November of 2001.

 

Catherine is a stay-at-home mom, and is a Sterling Educational Consultant with Discovery Toys.  She also stays active at First Baptist Church by singing in the choir, teaching children in AWANA, working in the nursery, and assisting the support group ministries.  Catherine enjoys reading, scrapbooking, gardening, decorating, and her newest hobbies: sewing and card making.
